I am apologetically a Child of God, clinging to my faith and His word with everything in me, praying for answers and relief from the pain that consumes my every waking moment. I don't know how people without faith make it through a normal day, much less how they navigate through the storms of life.
Davy was a Christian, so I know I will see him again, and all the questions I have will be answered. But in the meantime, I just have to hang on ... often by my fingernails ... and know God didn't take my son just to be cruel or to punish me.
When I'm overwhelmed, which is often, I repeat the chorus of this song ... Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done ...
