I don't know what her fascination with paper is. We've had other cats, and they were more than happy to lay on fluffy cushions or soft blankets, but Olivia prefers paper and boxes. I was unpacking something that had been wrapped in newspaper, and a piece fell to the floor. When I bent down to retrieve it, Olivia had claimed it and refused to budge! Fortunately, she's no match for my mighty strength, so I won the battle ... but she glared at me for the rest of the day.
