My boyfriend bought three hibiscus trees for his deck this past summer. Unlike hibiscus bushes, these are not cold-weather hardy and must be over-wintered inside. I knew he wouldn't do that ... he'd just let them sit outside and die a slow, cold, agonizing death, so I offered to adopt them for the winter. As a thank you, these beauties have been blooming ever since! They're still full of blooms, so they aren't even close to done thanking me. Aren't they gorgeous?!
