Happy 111th Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

One of the most iconic children's books penned, Green Eggs and Ham, was written because someone bet Dr. Seuss that he could not write a book using fifty words or less. I don't know what the wager was, but his subsequent profits on that bet probably put his kids through college!

So tonight, as is our custom, I will be serving green eggs and ham for dinner. My kids and boyfriend have come to expect this less than appetizing-looking, silly dinner. I don't think my boyfriend cares what I fix for dinner (as long as he's invited!), but the kids would be disappointed ... and I can't disappoint the children!
