This "open-air display" used to happen only in the dining room, but now she lays like this every place a sun ray shines into the house. That got me to thinking ... and I believe she's trying to tan the fur on her "nether regions" so that it matches the rest of her. The kids just look at me and roll their eyes when I verbalize my hypothesis, but I think it's a very credible theory! It's either that ... or (more likely) ... she's just a tramp.
